I recently dined at a paella restaurant in Tarragona, and I must say the paella was absolutely delicious—one of the best ! The service was also commendable. There was a minor issue where we were mistakenly charged for the table, but the server quickly noticed the error and promptly issued a refund. Additionally, the owner was very kind and attentive throughout our meal. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

I went solo and they managed to find a table for me even though they were busy. The food was absolutely delicious and the waitstaff were attentive and gracious (patient with my Spanish). The wine was great too. Floated back to my hotel perfectly full and a bit tipsy and very happy.

El Llagut is a fantastic spot in Tarragona for fresh, flavorful seafood. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the waitstaff made us feel welcome with their friendly service. We started our meal with steamed mussels, which were perfectly cooked, and then enjoyed two outstanding rice dishes: the arroz mariner de cangrejo de playa (fisherman’s rice with mixed seafood) and the arroz negro con sepia, cangrejo de playa y almejas (black rice with cuttlefish, beach crab, and clams). Both were packed with rich, balanced flavors that showcased the quality of the ingredients. A wonderful dining experience — highly recommended for anyone wanting to savor authentic seafood and rice dishes in Tarragona.

I can highly recommend the tun sallad as a starter. It is impeccable. Creamy rice with mussels & artichoke was a bit spicy - which came as nice surprise. Pleasant service. Perfect spot on the sunny square. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Went to El Llagut for dinner on Friday and we were very pleased. I went for the rice with velvet crab which was delicious, and rich with flavour. The service was humble, not trying too hard but our server was always present if we needed anything. The atmosphere was romantic; we sat inside, which was cosy, and quite busy, without being overbearing. The prices were also very reasonable despite the excellent service and attention to detail. If we ever come back to Tarragona we will be back!

Lovely restaurant in beautiful little square in Tarragona. Lovely place to relax in after siteseeing. I had Tarragona sardines with black rice. Husband had cod with broad beans- those beans were absolutely delicious and our son had fried fish with salad with sour apples which was gorgeous! We were also given some complimentary gazpacho as an aperitif. Would highly recommend.

Wow! What a fantastic experience! The food I had here was truly one of a kind. Everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend ordering the salad with lettuce, hazelnuts, and fish—it was the best salad I have ever eaten! They also offered a complimentary drink that contained garlic, apple, and other ingredients, which was a unique experience in itself. 100% recommended!

I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves one - was recommended by our landlord while we were on holiday in Tarragona . And oh wow, what beautiful food! We ordered 4 dishes between us and were nicely full after. We had fish with vegetables (it was a cold dish and was called spicy but it was just tasty not spicy ) - absolutely heavenly. We also had mussels - they were incredibly fresh and delicious, neat mussles I have ever had (and I had a lot of them in my life!). We also had octopus croquettes which were tasty , crunchy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. And finished off with fried squid with beans - my least favourite but not because it was not amazing - the other dishes were just such winners. Anyway, we also had 4 glasses of wine between us and a glass of cava. All came in under 75 euros which , for the quality of the food and the lovely ambience , was a steal. The service was not the best but it really didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommended!
